The staff and board extend a warm invitation to all school and community members to come along and join us for our Community Connect day on the 21st September. Â We will be officially opening our new toilet blockÂ
combined with a performance by our talented Kapa haka group and a shared lunch. Â This is an opportunity to see Arohena School in action. You are invited on a tour of the school, which will take you through the classrooms where students will share their learning programmes. Â Â
Â
In preparation for our Community Connect Day, we will be holding a school working bee the 8th September. We would like to call on the help of any school or community members who are available on that day to help us drain and re-surface our adventure playground with new wood chips. Â We will also be weeding the school bank and gardens. Â The school is central to the Arohena district and we value the support of our community members.
